Entitled Neighbor calls the police on residents for parking on a public path, they dismiss the case, she keys their car: 'Anyone is allowed to park there!'

Some people spend the vast majority of their free time causing drama in order to portray themselves as aggrieved individuals. 

It's safe to assume that a good portion of these folks lead lonely or unfulfilled lives, and they gain a strange sense of purpose by stirring the pot. The unfortunate people affected in these scenarios tend to be those whose lives intersect with these disturbed folks on a regular basis. Family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors are often roped into these chaotic moments, regardless of whether or not they want to be involved. And guess what? More often than not, they definitely do not want to be there.

This entitled neighbor was convinced that the residents across the street were not allowed to park on a public path outside of their home. Even after the residents confirmed that they are, in fact, allowed to park there, the neighbor still refused to back down. It could have been her pride, it could have been her sheer audacity, or it could have been that lack of fulfillment in life.   • The most amusing part of this story is that this couple barely ever parks their car on this public path anyway. It's not like it's happening all the time. It only happens once a week, so that they can take their bins out, and they do their best to only have their car parked there overnight. 

    When the neighbor called the police, the cops immediately ignored her complaint, since it was well-documented that this was public property. She didn't have any legs to stand on, and yet, she did not give up. It got to the point where she even vandalized this couple's car. Even though they didn't have evidence to prove that she was the culprit, they knew. It was as obvious as her loneliness.

    Here's hoping she moves on after all her failed attempts to claim this path that straight-up does not belong to her!

    This started about 5 or 6 years ago, when we moved into a house with a fairly long driveway.

  • lamppost, it makes it awkward to get in and out of the driveway with the other car. And there is a large patch of grass which we were trying to maintain.

  • Keep in mind we would only park there overnight maybe once or twice a week (bin day and if we knew we needed to use the larger car). Eventually I got the use of a work car so that would be parked on the opposite side every other week.

  • When we first moved in, she kept yelling from across the road about how we were parking on her land and that we needed to stop. We checked, and it's a public pavement, so anyone is allowed to park there. She called the police saying we were illegally

  • loads of cement blocks and wooden pallets on the pavement blocking anyone from parking there, stating she was storing them there while doing work on her backyard. The council told her to remove them by the end of the week.

  • She didnt remove them until the police told her she had to move them a month later. She started reversing into her driveway by deliberately going up onto the grass verge destroying it while shining high beams into our living room.

  • Eventually she stopped/gave up after about 2 or 3 years of this, but her driveway was wide enough for 2 cars and she only ever parked on the pathway to stop us from parking there. I work
