A 20-year-old cat crossed the rainbow bridge on December 14th for this family. They grieved so much that they couldn't get rid of her things, her box, or any of her toys. She remained in their hearts all this time, and they were wondering when they would move past this pain. Then, on their month anniversary of a seemingly irreparable loss, a pregnant one-year-old stray cat shows up at their house, almost like fate destined her to come. She makes a beeline for their legs and immediately lets them scratch and pet her. For a cat, this is unbelievable warm and affectionate behavior. It seems as though this pregnant cat found them, rather than they found her. In just a couple days of arriving to their home, the pregnant kitty delivers six healthy kittens. 

There was something uncannily surreal about what happened for them. After saying goodbye to a beloved cat, a new one found its way to them. They named her Roxy, and they truly believe that she's the reincarnation of their precious cat who crossed the rainbow bridge. So life works in mysterious ways.
