As I'm typing this, my tuxedo cat is selfishly stealing all of the warmth from my quaint radiator, which tries its best to spread heat across my 750 squarefoot apartment. Instead, my cat feels like he's coming down with a fever from all of the toastiness he's taking away from my poor hooman hands and feet. He doesn't even care! Who am I kidding? If I were a cat, neither would I. He should count his blessings… and I guess I should, too. It feels like I'm about to lose one of the nine lives I receive by proxy as a cat owner, and I'm not so down with that.
At the end of the day, we need to do what we can to stay warm through the brutal winter without sacrificing our comfort, and pawssibly sticking with our laziness (because it's really fun to be lazy in the winter). Sure, you can grab a decadent hot cocoa with extra whipped cream and marshmallows, but that can only warm you up so much. What really gets your cheeks toasty? Laughing so hard that you feel like you might pass out. But you probably shouldn't pass out, so you should get comfy on your couch with your furry feline as quickly as you can.
