Cats have a strange way to find themselves multiplying while living in the homes of hoomans. And not through giving birth but by being found in all sorts of curious places. Much like the kitten from this story who was scooped up from the side of the road to be given a furever home with 2 feline siblings.

Cats just seem to have all the luck when you tink about it. They have nine lives to play with, balance that would make a trapeze artist jealous, fur that shimmers in the sun, and a body that needs not a season to look good for, it looks good all the time. And this luck seems to rather wonderfully extend to kittens who have found themselves haphazardly hanging out on the side of busy roads.

As is the case for our kitten protagonist who was precariously perched by a busy road when a passing motorist saw him and stopped to scoop him up. A lucky encounter indeed for who knows what could have happened to this cat cutie had this person not spotted him. But lady luck was still not done with this cat as she decided that this hooman would whisk the kitten away to be cared for medically and then have that very same savior hooman adopt the kitten. Giving it a happily ever after and a whole heap of love. You've got to love that cat luck.

What a brilliant way to start a story like this. First of all for it to happen around brunch, that just shows that this person is living life right. But then for them to cancel their plans, drop everything and dedicate the rest of their day and soon enough life to this cute creature that they just met on the side of the road is pretty darn spectacular. There are not all too many hoomans out there with the heart to do such a thing. However this one and many other cat loving people do have such a heart and apparently this person has some humor to them judging by the cheeky name they bestowed upon the cat.

See this is what we mean when we say that feline adoptions need to be simpler and more straight forward than what usually happens with a shelter adoption. Because while you can argue all day that these cats might have deserved a larger house with access to the outdoors. You simply cannot deny that with the amount of cats cooped up in tiny cages, even a studio apartment with windows and even feline company is a much better situation to be living in.
