Why is being a woman so amazing and yet so difficult? We need to meme about it.

Existing as a woman in this "modern" society means you have to endure a constant battle of demanding space where you know you are already entitled to have space. It starts with your dad telling you your brother can try out for that sport, but you can't because it's too "rough" for girls. Then it carries on into the workplace, where your male coworkers are talking over you because they "didn't realize" you were the one in charge of that project. And then, of course, there is the boyfriend/husband who convinces you they are there to make your life easier and to lift you up. However, they tend to always let you down, even if it's just a bunch of little things. Like, after you've just spent the entire day fighting to have a voice at work and with your family, and then you come home and your boyfriend/husband "forgot" to do that little thing you asked them to do. "Oh, it isn't that big of a deal, I can do it later!" No, you obviously can't. If you can't do it now, why in tarnation would I expect you to do it later? Disappointing man, after disappointing man.

Listen, I know women have come a long way. I'm proud of us for that! But can a man sit down and maybe use their brain for one second and think maybe, “hmmm, it's probably a little unfair that they EVER had to come a long way from anything and I didn't…” Are men born without basic empathy and thinking skills, or are we all born this clueless and only women get taught how to use that part of their brain?
