My cat Fiona, went missing for 29 days. I had given up hope, having reached out to friends and family, her tracking chip network, and prayed to any god that would listen. Then one morning at 6 am, I was informed to "come over and pick up your fucking cat". 5 hours and 300 miles later she is home.

Due_Addendum4854 Who had her? That's pretty harsh language for strangers.

Murmadurk OP My family. My fiancee and I took her to visit my childhood home with my parents, and she went missing. I had searched for hours there, but couldn't find her. The house is 100+ years old so she must have found some kind of hidden hidey hole? We weren't sure, but apparently she had been sneaking out to steal other cat's food at 3 am and it wasn't until my father had a fit of insomnia that they realized she was still in the house.

DoctorLinguarum She looks kind of like my uncle's cat, also called Fiona. Fiona survived an unknown severe injury she acquired outside. Your Fiona has similar good luck.

Murmadurk OP Oh that's crazy! My fiancee and I actually rescued her after she had survived an attack from some kind of animal, that's how we found her. Hell of a coincidence. We're actually surprised how quickly she got comfortable with our dogs, considering her injury seemed like it was a canine's jaw. Now she rules the roost and the dogs worship her.

Loopoo 700 Who was it who had found her in the end?

Murmadurk OP My family, she was hiding in the basement of my childhood home. We searched for hours but she must have found some liminal zone known only to felines to hide in.

EyeRolling Now "Come get your fucking cat". lol. My answer would be "I am on my fucking way". Thank God you got her back. Your dog must have been losing its mind.

Murmadurk OP Oh I got dressed and immediately into the car. The dogs were so upset while she was gone.

Fearless_Debate_4135 Wow, how rude to tell you that!

Murmadurk OP I'm just glad she's back. I can live with a little brusqueness.

VisitAbject4090 I don't think there is any amount of money I wouldn't pay to hear what she has to tell about that trip

Away-Elephant-4323 From the looks of her face she'll happily do it again haha! Glad she's safe!

KlikketyKat We had a cat once that managed to escape from the house, snuck into the neighbor's van and ended up being driven to the other side of the city. Luckily, at the end of the trip they realised she was in the back of the van, prevented her from escaping and brought her back home again.

Ok-Leg-5302 My attic is sealed off. Some how some way my senior domestic long hair found a micro sized hole(seriously don't know how his beastly shape fit in it) was up there for 3 days. I was a reck. He also meows weird(he sounds like a fog horn).
