People who "don't want cats" eventually always get won over by some tiny, adorable kitten.

That's essentially a rule at this point. We've seen it endless times. Dads who "hate cats" falling in love with some itty bitty thing that their kids or wives adopted. Moms who "never wanted a cat" now cradling and babying their kitties the same way that they did with their kiddos. Boyfriends who didn't get along with their girlfriend's cats doing everything in their power to win the cats over (and winning their girlfriends over even more at the same time). Cats simply have this power over people. You can never say no to an itty bitty kitty that wants your love.

That's how people who don't want cats end up with them anyway. Because once you are chosen by a cat, resisting becomes futile. Of course, the husband in this story was not the first one chosen. The wife was. She found the kitty, rescued it, and was instantly ready to adopt it. But the husband said that they already had enough cats, that they didn't need any more of them. And then he met the kitten. After that, it was only a matter of time…

Listen, even as people who own cats, we're sometimes surprised by the amounts that we have to pay for their examinations. So for someone who doesn't own a cat and wasn't expecting a cat to come into their lives, this is an amount that had to have been surprising. Honestly, let's hope it ends here, for the sake of these people's pockets and for the sake of the cat - because we just want the itty bitty thing to be healthy and happy in its new home.

Oh, this was the most obvious thing that could have ever happened. Of course he fell in love with the cat. Of course he grew too attached. He would have stood a chance - a small one, but still - had he been someone who didn't have cats or who claimed to dislike cats, but as a cat owner already, yeah, he stood no chance whatsoever. It was only a matter of time before he fell for this itty bitty thing, and from the sound of it, with this man, it did not take much time at all. As it should be. Sounds like this man is a keeper.
