Paradise looks different for different people. For some, it could be a sad, wistful European town in the rain, quietly staring through a window with candlelight and a good book, where vibes are cozy and protected. For others, it's a typical and tropical beach, casually relaxing with a pineapple drink in your hand while you go in and out of a delightful, warm sea to swim. For some it can even be some sort of remote village, where green grasses shroud every inch of the earth as far as the eye could see, while you have nothing but the immersion of nature around you. And for some, it's being smack in the center of a metropolitan city, shopping, lurid colors, and busy noises distract your senses. For others, it's being around cats.

In Dante Alighieri's, The Paradise, he's soaring from planet to planet towards the sun with his guide, Beatrice, holding his hand along the way. She's his symbol of divine love, and his only job is to be enamored and understand the true meaning of love. Cats have different expectations, and usually just want lots of tuna and catnip. They may enjoy chasing birds around and seeing the world pass them by while breathing fresh air, and they also enjoy cuddly, warm snuggles with you while you're watching your favorite show. Cats basically live their day-to-day in a state of paradise. Their hedonistic lives demand us to take care of them while they sit on our couch all day. We go to work day in and day out just to afford wet food for these purrfect little creatures.

When you're in the midst of your midweek meltdown, it's important to remember your cat. He or she is at home waiting for you, peacefully longing for your return so you two can spend a lovely evening together. So enjoy these cat memes.

I don't know about you, but my cat absolutely loves watching TV with me. He especially loves anime, maybe there's something about it that takes him back. Maybe he's secretly a Japanese man stuck in the body of a cat, and he's just trying to get a taste of home. He also loves to watch me play video games.
