It's another holiday and another weekend for parents to do everything they can for their kids. It's hard to make life feel whimsical in this day and age, but somebody has to do it, and it is parents. Do you remember when you would all exchange valentines at school? You would make your own little paper mailbox and exchange some witty Spongebob card to your besties. Those were the days! And why were those the days? Because our parents (and teachers) made it so! They made sure we all felt loved as kids. And now, all grown up, as parents, we must do the same for ours. And have fun while doing it! 

Arts and crafts might not be the most tidy activity to do with your kids, but so what? It's fun and you can all make Valentines for each other! It will be super cute and probably even a core memory for your kiddos. Valentine's Day doesn't have to be about romantic love. It can also be about a motherly or fatherly love. 

And what better way to express love than to laugh together??

  • Mom, dad, seriously, when was the last time you were able to LOL at a meme? Not a silly little kid one that you laugh just to express laughter to your kid so they can understand how to laugh.
