We love how cats think they're invisible if they move slowly enough. It's like cats are all collectively Drax from Guardians of the Galaxy, just without the part of being a muscular and green alien. But they have the same mindset, clearly. If there's a cat named Drax somewhere, we would like to know about him - it would be like witnessing a prophecy that fulfills itself.

To fair, heated everything attracts cats, no matter what it is. A heated blanket, a heated lap, a heated lamp, and yes, a heated toilet seat. They're all legitimate places of comfort in the eyes of a cat.
You see, cats are attracted to heat. Cats love heated spaces because their bodies are basically optimized for “toasty”. With a higher normal body temperature than humans, cats feel chilly sooner and naturally seek out warmth to conserve energy. In the wild, resting in warm spots helps them relax muscles and save calories they’d otherwise burn staying warm. Heat also increases comfort for joints and muscles, which is especially appealing during naps that last several business hours. Add in a cat’s love of cozy, enclosed spaces and you get an animal that will immediately locate the sunniest window, warmest laptop, or freshly folded laundry. Heated spots aren’t just comfy - they’re efficient.
To a cat, warmth equals safety, rest, and maximum nap quality, and honestly, they’re not wrong.
