You would have thought that having someone care for your dogs while you are away within the confines of a securely fenced yard would allow you to feel safe in the knowledge that your doggos will be there when you come home. But as you'll come to find in this story that could not be much further from the truth.

Leaving your puppers behind to go on holiday is no easy task. To begin with you need to organize care for them with people who you know and trust. In the case of this family it was their grandpawrents who stepped up to help out. But then you have to cope with the sadness of separation while you are away, which can be even worse than the stress of finding a suitable sitter.

And even with all that anguish and effort you are still not guaranteed that your doggos will be safe upon your return, which is unfortunately what happened to this story's family. A sad fact which was made worse by the grandparents neglecting to inform the pawrents their dog was missing. It is a harrowing tale with a sweet ending thankfully but it is tale that not the pawrents, nor the grandpawrents will come to forget in a hurry.

Holy moly, this story does not start with the most optimistic of outlooks does it? To lose all of your possession and then your canine child on top of that is simply unreal. It is hard to imagine the kind of devastation that would cause to a person and their family. Especially after so much heroism on the husband’s part. But that is just the way of the world. Sometimes you need a new start even if that means leaving behind some of the most important people or in this case animals in your life.

While not an ideal situation in any way shape or form it is still a blessed position to be in. Many people who lose everything like that are devoid of any other option than to rehome their fur family and to live as basically as possible until their fortunes change. So it is truly wonderful that this fur family was able to stay together even if it was under slightly less comfortable circumstances. But much to the misfortune of this family their troubles are far from over and this vacation that they so desperately need will soon turn into quite the nightmare.
