Now, this is how you know that you are dealing with some pro-level pawrenting right here. You have all the building blocks. First she knew exactly what to do when her cat ran out the door. Then she barely batted an eyelid and gained control of the situation when the stray Zoe turned up. And without even breaking much of a sweat, has managed to assimilate her into a house where there are other cats already living there. These are things which take most pawrents weeks or months to make happen and usually there is a lot more scratching and sadness that happens along the way.

Well, talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place. You are now weeks into an adoption/assimilation that started off so smoothly and simply and now you find yourself at a road block that seems to be immovable. We certainly would not know what to do in such a situation. The best we could manage to think of here is that Zoe might still react to other cats as threats due to her thinking that stray cat life rules still applied. We can only imagine how this plucky pawrent managed to quash the beef that was beginning to build between Zoe and her resident cats…
