Well, it sure is interesting how Hopper’s story has parallels to that of the story of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Both were outcasts, both were the only ones able to do their ‘special skill’ and both were the saviors of their stories. Ok, well, Hopper is no savior, but we do not feel that it would be all too far of a stretch to say that Hopper would end up going toe to toe with the Coyote who took out the flock who rejected him, saving the rest of his family and becoming a true underdog hero. Alas such stories are more likely to be saved for the fairy tales of the world.

So after all this madness, stress and worry it turns out that Hopper just wanted to hop over to a new pond to get his swimming jollies? It is certainly not an outcome that we were expecting especially considering the roaming Coyote playing the villain in this story. But we cannot say that we are anything other than delighted for the pair of them that they got to be so wholesomely reunited. It must be quite the unique challenge being a duck dad, and no less a flying duck dad, so to come face to face with your duck child once more after a nerve racking time apart must be a level of elation that many of us cannot fathom.
