There is nothing to be surprised about this is heckin sad. The situation for senior cattos is not one that is particularly kind or easy on the ears. Especially when you know how much love they have to give even in their older age. Sure, they might take a little more effort to care for and the like. But after a lifetime of giving love and comfort to their family, do they not deserve to be taken care of? Do they not deserve a life of comfort and wellbeing just as much as any aging hooman might? We certainly think so, and it seems that this shelter volunteer is of the same opinion, thankfully.

Honestly, so so close to tears right now. What is this fairy tale of an adoption story? Someone needs to call Hallmark and tell them to make a movie out of this story post haste. We can just imagine the sweet, albeit increasingly sad story line as this hooman gets a downtrodden cat to light up and have one last truly enjoyable part of his life. All the while his health is slowly deteriorating, leaving his new pawrent to care for him more with each passing day. But even through that tough time their love, patience and understanding of one and other never wavers.
