You might have meme-d this as if it is something funny, but this is actually completely serious to us. Getting back home after a long day of work is one of the best feelings in the world. Our comfy couch is waiting for us, and, even more impurrtantly, our cats are waiting for us as well. At home are cuddles, love and fluffiness, and we refuse to ever apologize for rushing back to that. Wrapped up in our cat's paws is one of the best places to be.

We have to say that we agree with the decision that was made here. Why should Connor the cat be demoted to being called “cat Connor”? He was there first, he has seniority. That is his identity, and it should not be changed. Of course, one could argue that human Connor also has identity ties to this name, but still, he got there second, and he simply has to deal with the reality of kitty cat Connor. In fact, if more people gave cats respect like this - the way that they deseve - the entire world would be a much better place. That is our theory.
