The CDS is apparently not only for connecting hoomans and cats. At least it seems that way according to this story where the CDS did a hooman a solid and got them out of work for the day.

Ok, all jokes aside, the Cat Distribution System really pulled off quite the miracle. First by managing to get this person out of their work day, something that so many of us dream would happen to us, and then by doing everything possible to make the transition for this kitty from street stray to prince of the house as smooth and seamless as possible. Something that anyone who knows a thing or two about the complications that can happen in cat rescues is a big deal.

After all, a cat who has been dumped with no teeth, getting on in years and with little to no ability to care for itself in the wild is not going to be in decent shape. And as you'll come to see in this story this cat needed a whole heap of help. And in a world with all too much that can go wrong in it, it is stories like this that restore our faith in the ability for things to go right.   • Well, that sure is one way to start your morning. It would be fair to say that most of us would find it difficult to know our left from our right shoe straight after our morning coffee. Let alone to be compus mentus enough to leap into action to save a sweet cat who had just crawled out to greet us from underneath a camper. We love the way this heroic rescuer was just like, here, hold my work, I’ve got a cat to save. At that, we were rather surprised that their boss was so chill about the whole thing.   • It is unreal how many truly caring and compassionate people there are in this world, and that many of them seem to work at vets’. What a wonderful act of kindness for a catto who had no other option other than a squalid life at a local shelter who would likely send him over the rainbow bridge due to a lack of funding to deal with such a situation.
