It's interesting to think that if she just decided not to go to work that day then she wouldn't have met this very special cat in her life. She clearly has a connection with the kitten, and probably did since day 1. The serendipity of life has us thinking about fate, or at least it has me thinking about fate. Sometimes I think the same about things in my life. Like if I decided not to go to a certain cafe on a certain day next to my ephemeral work at the time, then I would never have met my boyfriend. It was a few years ago, he was working at the cafe, and it was at a time in my life where I was feeling low. But he saw me anyway, he saw me and knew he had to get my number. I'll never forget that serendipitous day, and always cherish it. I also think about when I got my cat. I was home and just randomly decided to take a walk outside, which I usually never do. But that's when I saw him, my little stripped furball of joy.
