Why did the capybara and the armadillo cross the street? To get to the other side!

In a world where everything seems impossible, go to Florida. There, everything is pawssible, no matter how far-fetched it may seem. One day (in Florida), you could be basking under the warm, muggy sunshine, and the next, your house is flying to Kansas from a hurricane. One day (in Florida), you could be minding your own business, when you have to swerve to avoid an alligator and a snake having a WWE smackdown on the side of the road. And maybe, just maybe (in Florida), you might have to stop traffic for a few minutes to watch a Capybara take an armadillo as an Uber crossing the road.

Capybaras are known for being the chillest creatures in the animal kingdom and friends with, quite literally, every animal they meet. On the one hand, this doesn't surprise us in the slightest. It was only a matter of time before they hopped on another animal for a ride. On the other hand, this might be the strangest thing we've seen all year. Either way, it's very entertaining, and we're glad they decided to cross the road together. It's always better to cross the road with a buddy.

You may think that this video is pointless, but we beg to differ. We can learn a lot from these two awwdorable little guys. The importance of friendship, of helping those who can't help themselves, to stop and appreciate the natural wonders of the world, and last but not least, to never drink and drive. Better safe than sorry.

Normally, you see other animals using the capybara as an Uber. From birds to goats, to other capybaras, we always see them surrounded by cute critters just basking in their pawfectly chill presence. It's nice to see them asking for help when they need it, which is a skill we, personally, are still working on. And who knew armadillos were so friendly and accommodating? This really changes our views on the armadillo species.

We don't know about you, but we would definitely watch an animated series about a capybara and armadillo friendship. That sounds like a Pixar movie in the making. And for once, they would use an original idea!
