I need to know at what point we all collectively decided to ignore the fact that reality just… changed. Because I refuse to believe I imagined all of this. The Monopoly man had a monocle. I don’t care what anyone says. It just makes sense, top hat, suit, little cane… and NO monocle?
That feels incomplete. Wrong, even. Like someone edited him last minute and expected us not to notice. And don’t even try to tell me Pikachu’s tail was never black at the tip. That one actually offended me. I can literally picture drawing it like that as a kid. Why would I invent that detail?? For fun??

Same with the Fruit of the Loom logo. There was a basket. There was. That little cornucopia-looking thing behind the fruit?? You cannot convince me we all hallucinated the same exact background element for no reason. That’s too specific.
And once you notice one, it just keeps going. Logos look slightly off. Names are spelled weirdly. Things you’ve seen a thousand times suddenly feel unfamiliar, like someone swapped them out overnight and hoped no one would question it. But the worst part isn’t even being wrong, it’s how confident you were before finding out. Like you would’ve sear by it being the way you remembered it to be. You would've started fights and been like “no, I’m 100% sure” and now you’re sitting here, staring at evidence, feeling personally betrayed by your own brain.

And somehow it gets worse when other people remember it the same way. Because now it’s not just you being confused, it’s a group experience. Its is lowkey scary, then you end up making conspiracy theories with your friends for two hours about what could've happened because you know for a fact you were right. Which honestly raises more questions than answers, but this ending is inevitable.
At this point, I don’t even trust myself anymore. I see a logo and I’m like… is that actually correct or am I about to find out I’ve been wrong my entire life? Because apparently, that’s a very real possibility. Don't get your hopes up guys! And maybe, just for this time, our gut feeling is wrong.
