Procrastinating just means the work’s waiting for you later, it doesn’t disappear. You can put it off, scroll a bit, do literally anything else, but it’s still sitting there in the background. Eventually, you come back to it anyway, usually with a little more pressure than before. It’s not really avoiding the task, it’s just rescheduling it whether you meant to or not.

Always torn between being productive and procrastinating, and somehow procrastination wins every time. You start with good intentions, maybe even a plan, and then suddenly you’re doing anything else instead. It’s not even a conscious decision at this point, it just happens. The work is still there, waiting, but procrastination always seems a little more appealing in the moment, and somehow it keeps winning.

The problem with being productive is that once you start, you kind of have to keep it going. One good day turns into an expectation, and suddenly doing nothing feels wrong. It’s not just a one-time thing anymore, it becomes a routine you’re supposed to stick to. That’s the real pressure, not the work itself, but having to show up and do it again the next day.
