The best cat game of recent years is definitely Stray, the third-person adventure where you navigate a neon-lit robot city, solving puzzles to find your family. Another one that we absolutely love is Night in the Woods, where you play as a cat named Mae in a narrative-driven adventure exploring a decaying town. Then there's Little Kitty, Big City, the cute and cozy, physics-based game focused on causing mischief in a city while trying to find your way home.

If you play as a cat, you both game and spend some cat-time. And, of course, your cat will always be on your lap while you game. That's just the law of having a cat if you're a gamer. How many of you shouted Fus Ro Dah after playing Skyrim for the first time, just to see if anything happened? We know we did. Multiple times. Even this morning. When nothing inevitably happens, we resort to meowing to summon our cat, just to spend 5 minutes with us curled up in bed before we need to get up and face another day.
