Void cats aren't always embraced. They actually have a bad and unfair representation. There are several reasons that people are discouraged and deterred from adopting black cats, and none of it is truly representative of these black beauties. One of the reasons people don't like black cats is their superstitious origins; this archaic and outdated notion is heavily tied to folktales, stories, myths, and legends that aren't rooted in anything true. Black cats are supposed to be bad luck, but has anyone ever experienced a bad experience with a black cat? Another reason is that they're not the most photogenic. In a world consumed by screens, aesthetics, and the constant bombardment of photos to post online for the world to see, void cats fall behind the pace of other more photogenic felines. As sad as it is, people use these main reasons to avoid getting black cats.

This cat is beyond cute. Who can let go of a cat with that adorable little face? She looks so curious, and you can tell she is quite a unique cat. I really hope that this couple can find someone to adopt her, or that they will decide on a 5th cat. I have one cat and it's already enough for me.
