20-year-old cat mom accuses entitled wealthy roommate of icing her out and setting ridiculous rules after a situation involving their two fluffy felines

"Now she's acting like everything's fine and nothing happened."

Living with roommates is tough. Every single purrson on this Earth has had a terrible experience with a roommate before. Some of them have probably been milder, like them leaving their dirty socks all over the house, but some people are just impawssible to live with. We're not talking about just not washing their dishes, we're talking about throwing parties at 1 AM and climbing in through the window because they constantly lose their keys. Or even worse, the roommate that "accidentally" lets your cat out.

You have two choices when moving in with someone you don't know - you either decide to be friends, or be two ships passing in the night. We prefer the second option, because the first is always a shot in the dark, and has the potential for disaster if they end up being a worse friend than they are roommate. We tried to be friends with a roommate we didn't know before, and let's just say it did not go well. It ended with a broken window and lawyers.

But, we don't fault anyone for trying to go the friendly route. As much potential as it has for failure, it has a similar potential for purrrre awesomeness. You get a cool friend, and it makes living together easier. That is, if it works out. If you both share a love for cats, then you would think that you would be purrfectly compatible, right? Wrong!

After a seemingly banal incident where one roommate's cat got into a very interesting kitchen item, said roommate began icing out her fellow roommate and cat mom for something that was not her fault at all. She flipped a switch, instantly writing her off and looking down on her like she was a terrible purrson. When, really, if you read the story, you see that she is the irresponsible one.

One thing you can't teach someone is how to take responsibility, and usually, the more money you have, the less responsibility you think is yours.

Anything you think you can do to deter cats is almost always never enough. Cats have all day while you're gone to figure out what that one thing is you're trying to hide from them. And they will succeed.
