There aren't many days in the week where we have more than one hour to ourselves. Between work, errands, trying to eat healthily, getting at least a little exercise in, cleaning up after the kitties (and ourselves), and trying not to have a full mental breakdown, we barely have any time for ourselves anymore. It's not often that we can just turn off our brains and truly relax, even on the weekends. When was the last weekend when you had absolutely no plans? Yeah, we don't remember either.

Think of them as a cute and fluffy form of self-care, a lunch break for your brain, or a nice, relaxing cruise by the beach. Whatever you're imagining, it doesn't matter as long as it brings you some purrfect peace of mind. The goal here is to furget all your worries and give yourself a well-deserved hilarious hiatus from life. This is what Caturdays should be for, but too often, life gets in the way. But not today!

The older we get, the more we prefer the company of cats over hoomans. We think we're not alone in this sentiment, but we were reminded of it after seeing the meme above. We would much rather be invited to a meeting of the council of cats than a hooman's birthday party. Especially if it's a child's birthday party. We can't pet a child, and they're not nearly as comfortable when sitting on your lap. Cats over kids, every day.
