You don't need to doomscroll. 

You know the feeling. You're locked into a feed that you know will bring you nothing but sadness. You can't help it, though, you're in too deep. You woke up with a piece of your heart missing, and the only thing that seemed like the answer was scrolling. It's the curse of our age. We look for answers in all the wrong places, the wrong places being our phone screens. We don't need to blame ourselves, though. We weren't always this way. We used to find our joy outside at the park or with a pen and paper and our imaginations. Somewhere along the line, though, we started getting hooked on the sauce. We opened up Instagram one day and never had the strength to put it down, despite our continued dissatisfaction. But not all scrolling has to be negative. We can scroll in a way that opens up our hearts and our minds. We just have to travel to Memebase to do that. Here, there is no doomscrolling. We won't fill your feeds with negativity. We will simply reflect the culture of memes back at you. We will serve up memes with a smile. You can be reminded of the old days of the internet. The one that existed back in grade school that you'd visit when you got home. You'd log onto your family computer and see what the internet had in store. It didn't make you angry. It didn't make you sad. It made you happy. It made you giggle. It made you open up your heart to just a little bit of joy. So that's what we're here to do today with this list of memes.
