Frankly, I didn't know people were shelling out 4 figures to go golfing, and that makes me think that they should be getting gold-star treatment for the duration of their time spent on the golf course. It should be a literally perfect experience. And even if this particular person isn't themselves wealthy, a lot of these golf spots cater to their clients knowing that these folks are bigwigs with cash to burn. They want these clients to view this as a highclass experience, and they want them to return time and time again.
That's not what happened here for this person, who had an astonishingly bad time at this golf spot:
-
Played the most miserable round of my life

Just a little update from this person
Great news! Dad enjoyed his day. I bet he had a wonderful day just spending quality time with his family. I bet he admires the effort that went into buying him such an expense and thoughtful experience. I hope this person takes their Dad's happiness to heart, while also filing a credit card chargeback for their golfing day. And if not that, I hope that they're offered a whole new day of golfing at the expense of the golf club (perhaps they can choose a less crowded day, too, just to be on the safe side).

They've been reading the comments from people who had plenty of suggestions as to how to make up for this 4-figure golf outing gone wrong

Why do we think the ranger was acting that way?
No doubt he was under some kind of pressure to move things along. But does he understand who his clientele is in any capacity? Rich people cannot stand to be treated like that, and there's just no club that treats their wealthy members like that and expects them to remain members. It's totally unthinkable, and I would certainly hope that a complaint could spur the club into giving this family a fresh tee time to make up for all this hassle.

This would honestly be justified! They could link their story as proof about what went down
