  • Woman washes car.
  • People in past generations could raise a family of 6 on a single income!

K... @Th... Dave Ramsay's audience slurps up boomer drivel meant for back patting from other boomers pretending they didn't have the single easiest come up of all time. It's not real advice.
  • Woman sprays a power washer.
  • People had some good follow up questions

Thirty Days T... @XDays "Pressure washing" is always touted as a great side hustle. Have you ever paid someone to pressure wash your house? Who are all these people in desperate need of pressure washing?
  • Docquist... @Docquis... I will not be taking life or financial advice from boomers who grew up in an extremely forgiving and overly prosperous economy that no longer exists Dave Ramsey > Age THEATRE 65 years THEATRE THEATRE Suskm Image: Anna Webber THEATRE HEATRE
  • This is the type of Boomer who suggests you show up to a workplace in person, give the boss a firm handshake, and explain that you'd like a job with that company

Dissident... ❤ @disside... Is Dave Ramsey the most Boomer to ever Boomer? Just start pressure washing to pay for your education in a field that won't exist in 2 years. lol Imao
  • terminally on... @... if you give a strong handshake at coding school you get a 150k coding job
  • Worker pressure washes a large truck.
  • JuanSa... > code school @JuanSanc...
  • $150k is the new $50k, and $50k is the new minimum wage

Tony Two Sq... @TE... 150k a yr coding sticking to pressure washing better off
  • jam... @jameskeller6... "Code school" then "just get a SWE job" I guess after a certain age and level of material success, you just stop adjusting your mental models and absorb zero new information about the world as it currently is.
  • Austin » @austinh. ... Blade Ramsey says a $0.25 cent packing peanut can be the first step to making 150k a year "You don't want to be 63 years old still trying to figure out what to do with that peanut. To get through the week you can try trade up challenges with it" "Trade the peanut up for a car"
  • lan @IanBaer I'm not paying $10000 for "code school" and nobody with a "pressure washer business" is either. Ramsay makes more sense when you realize he's selling hope to the desperate, and entitlement to the old. Devoid of any value whatsoever.
  • Anthony .. @RealTon... Absolutely moronic thinking coming from someone who inherited the greatest economy in the history of our nation. The pressure washing gig is true, you can make decent money and it's very low barrier to entry, but "code school" is a L. CS degrees have dropped in value. A lot. It's the single most overearned degree with one of the highest unemployment rates after graduation.
  • Not to mention the entire degree will be irrelevant in 5-10 years as Al progresses. Software developers will become "prompt engineers"
  • Clark Canepa | P... @... Is this recent? Code school? Like what they were saying to do in 2013 and now all those people are jobless? Does this dude not live on 2026 where Claude an chatgpt has removed 90% of coders from the workforce?
  • bumba... @bumbad... Dave Ramsey gives undeniably good advice that 99% of people are incapable of following. Spend less than you make and put the extra money to debt. Eat beans and rice, get married, combine debt, and don't get divorced. It's boomer advice, like all boomer advice, it isn't actually wrong, just largely out of date.
  • Pressure washer smiles while washing sidewalks.
