27 Pawsitively Stunning Looks from the Cats and Canines of the Internet’s ‘Pet Gala’

This is the only gala we're going to, and it's also the only one where we're invited! Anyone with a cute cat, dashing doggo, and a camera, is welcome to purrticipate. And we must say, this year's purrticipants are particularly stunning in the theme: Fashion is art!

Everybody on the internet is abuzz with the Met Gala, but the only gala we're interested in is the 'Pet Gala'! Who cares about celebrities spending thousands of dollars on a one-time use gown with 10 lbs. of makeup on, when we could see a fancy feline looking her best as a living work of art? Or a doggo named 'Dolly Pawton' dressed up in her Sunday best? Now those are looks we would pay to see.

Even better, all these purrfect pets are free to view thanks to user @dieworkwear on 'X', whose post quickly went viral with pet pawrents posting their cute kitties and darling doggos in their outfits for the Pet Gala.

The theme this year was "Fashion is art", and we have to say that the pets this year did not disappoint. From colorful onesies to creative costumes, big hats to tuxedos, our four-legged friends went all out for the metaphorical red carpet.

We even got a guest appearance from our favorite miniature horse who is famous for her costumes, Trinket. She and her mom, who was a theater costume designer for years, use the money from their costume sales to help therapy horses around the US. As always she looked amazing. Not a single person could say “neeeeiiiighhhh” to her fabulous costumes.

Dolly, we must say, your commitment to wearing every color in the rainbow is pawsitively impressive. It takes a bold doggo to attempt to match every color with every other color, and not many would be able to pull it off, but you did. This look is definitely getting put into our top 5 best looks of the night, for sure. It's bold, unapologetic, and pawfectly Dolly.
