When they run, all I can feel is that main character galloping energy. Seriously, they look like they've been pulled straight out of a movie. You just can't look that gorgeous while running. Then there's me, needing an iron lung after speed-walking to my pilates class. But look at them. So dramatic, like they've got somewhere very important to be (they don't). At least not a pilates class, which, if you ask me, is very important.

When they're not running, they're giving dramatic stares from a distance, but they should also get some sleep at some point. Have you ever actually seen a horse sleeping? I think I've never seen them sleep in my life. But they do. I mean, they have to. And I did my research, and a fun fact about horses is that they can sleep both lying down AND standing up. Sounds pretty uncomfortable, but OK, I'm not here to judge a horse's sleep schedule.

After all… maybe I have seen a horse sleeping. I just didn't realize because they were standing. I bet it happened on one of those family road trips where you drive for like 32 hours straight, with nothing but green fields on both sides. Let's say there were 20 horses. Statistically, at least 1 of them had to be asleep. So yeah, it must have been there. And there's no way I could have missed it, because is there any mom who wouldn't point out horses in a field during a road trip? If there is, please don't tell me. You will make me sad.
