Feral feline found under rescuer’s bed surprises new pawrents by giving birth to 3 cute kittens in her new furever home and quickly leaving her pawrents to care for her litter, cat mom says: ‘Both Mama and babies are doing wonderfully!’

When a cat chooses you to pet it the sensation of being chosen is overwhelming, so we can only imagine what it like to be chosen to be a cat's home and birthing suite.

But that is exactly what this story's cat mom of three got to expeirence when her soon to be fourth cat waltzed thorugh her door and promptly set up camp under her bed. And as any good cat lover can tell you, occurances like this are rare. So rare in fact that they have no specifc name, even tohught they are rather different from the typical cat found by a dumpster story that the Cat Distribution System likes to use.

For in this case it is not a hooman trying to convince a scared cat to come to them for comofrt and help. If anything it is the complete opposite as the cat chose the hoomans, and most certainly did not ask any questions, not to mention that it ended up being more than just a single cat, but in total 4 cats including three babies and momma. We can only imagine the heart swelling this hooman must have felt when she realized how speical her situation was. Thank goodness she had the grand idea to share her story with us all on Reddit's r/notmycat subreddit.

Well, this has got to be one of the sweetest stories of a cat choosing its family we have heard about in a while. It is no common occurrence that a cat would just waltz into someone’s home and hangout under the bed like they own the place. If anything it is truly out of character for cat kind to do such a thing. No less when the house you are claiming already has three feline residents within it walls. But as often happens with stories where the Cat Distribution System gets involved the impossible becomes possible and the improbable, probable. And it seems that this street cat could not have chosen a more understanding and welcoming home to invade.

Talk about quite the surprise eh? It was already quite a lot of emotional excitement to hear about this cute cat choosing her home. But who would have thought that she was doing so with the forethought that she would be giving birth there? Now, that is some clever and crafty cat behavior right there, and it is lucky that it was received well by this cat’s new pawrent.
