  • Living with a feline means learning a different emotional language. One without words, one that speaks in riddles, meows, and knocking things off the table while making eye contact with you. Sometimes it isn't easy to understand the motives of a cat, but once you do and they fully accept you there's no going back. A cat choosing to sleep beside your feet or on top of your belly instead of the couch means that they feel comfortable and safe with you, it means you're their person and you can't let go of that.
