Every pawrent eventually starts choosing home décor based on one important question: how well will this hide cat fur? Dark couch with a white cat? Rookie mistake. Black clothes with an orange cat? Absolutely doomed. No matter what furniture gets purchased though, the cats always end up sprawled across it anyway leaving behind enough fur to build an entirely separate cat. At some point, pawrents just accept that every blanket, pillow, and couch cushion is permanently part cat now.

Cats really deserve tiny little couches made specifically for them. They already spend the entire day lounging like they own the living room anyway. Imagine a miniature couch with little pillows and blankets just for dramatic cat naps. Of course, even if they had their own perfectly sized furniture, they would still abandon it immediately to steal the exact spot their hooman was about to sit in instead.

Cats are so dedicated to being couch potatoes that they will stay on the couch no matter how annoyed they get. Their hooman can shift around constantly, accidentally kick them, steal the blanket, sit too close, and the cat still refuses to leave because the couch spot is simply too valuable. Instead they just sit there looking increasingly offended while aggressively flicking their tail and sighing dramatically every few minutes. Some cats would rather suffer through mild inconvenience for hours than give up a warm spot on the couch voluntarily.
