For example, a common way that a lot of people get fired is because they're caught stealing from their job. This one is truly baffling. Some folks will be making 6-figure salaries while lounging around in an office chair all day. But because they decided to pilfer a 50-pack of pens, or a pudding cup from the office cafeteria, they find themselves across the desk from an HR person wearing a frown. HR doesn't care how well a person is performing when they pull a stunt like that. It only takes one instance of theft to make an employer realize they cannot trust that employee, and just like that, they're gone by the end of the business day.
That's not even the most ridiculous reason that someone got fired, though! These employees thought they were safe at their jobs, but nope…

Some people simply cannot help themselves
via Mysterious_Touch_454They're chasing a certain feeling that can only be created by stealing a bunch of worthless items from the office. Hope it was worth it, pal! Maybe he can use all those pens to write out a rough draft of his resume, since it'll need updating after that blunder.

via FormerStuffDid he expect the company not to notice all the wear and tear on that vehicle? He just did not think that through at all.
