The lives that stray cats live out there in the world are hard ones. They are nothing like the lives of our spoiled house cats. Every scrap of food and shelter is something that they need to fight for. And that kind of life has a toll. Cats outside often look skinny or malnourished. You will never see a chonky cat living on its own outdoors. The ones you see are always fed by humans. These cats will often be skittish or scared, having most likely had bad experiences with humans throughout their lives.

Adopting a cat from a shelter or a kitten from a newly born litter holds a joy of its own kind. But we agree: adopting a stray cat is different. Saving a kitty who needed help from the streets, helping it get better, helping it transform, seeing it get happier and healthier in front of our eyes… that is an experience that is incredibly unique. You know, when you're in that position, that you're changing the cat's life. You know that you saved it. Of course she deserves it! They all do! We live our lives with the simple purpose of spoiling them as much as we can for as long as we can. When they are happy, we are happy. It really is that simple.
