This is all very much true. Really, more politicians and people in power should have cats. They would understand then. They would understand the price that the rest of us have to pay for the decisions that they make. They would understand the price that our cats pay, and then they would stop. They would simply stop with the shenanigans because their first priority, immediately, would turn into making all cats as happy as pawssible.

We want to say that we would not fall for this kind of trap… but this is actually exactly the kind of trap that we would fall for. If someone came to us with candy… it would not work. If someone tried to offer us money… we would see right through it. But cats… cats are too pure. No one would use cats to try to fool us. That is what we would think. And we would instantly fall for it.
