Knowing this little fluffball was not just hurt or hungry, but also lonely, makes this sight even more heartbreaking to imagine. What would you do if you knew a hurt kitten was alone, outside, in the middle of the night? We'd all like to think we would be the first to save them, but that's not true for all people. But at least this one person did something. And that's ameowzing.

We know this is quite a scary situation. We once saved a lonely kitten like this one - he started out fine, getting stronger with each day, but something was apparently very wrong. Because then the lethargy came in. Despite the vet visits, he didn't make it, and our heart is broken about it every single day since. But we know how scary kitten lethargy is. It can be slow or immediate, occurring for many reasons (that vets probably know way better than us), but it's never an easy experience. At least here, we can be happy this kitten got over his lethargic condition.

That's a very cute thing of this person to say. It can be interpreted as “I've got this one, he's going to be fine. Now, go help kittens with no one else who can help them.” And we couldn't agree more.
