Pregnant tortie cat found in the rain, gentle person saves her from the cold weather and posts for lost animal before she adopts her furrever

Fur baby pregnant with another fur baby? Sounds like one of the cutest things ever. 

On Reddit's r/cats, a person posted that a pregnant cat was found in the rain. It's unclear how long the cat has been there, but one thing is for sure: she needs safety. Being pregnant means she has different needs, and though the person doesn't know for sure if she's pregnant or not, she takes her in anyway. The cat is immediately sweet and affectionate, she's so grateful to be saved, and though a bit (understandably) skittish, she is friendly. She starts out very cautious, and even won't go up to the food that the woman provides. It takes more patience than that: she puts wet food on her finger and lets the cat lick it off of her gently. This brings them together quickly, and the cat gets more and more comfortable. 

There's always the question of, "did this cat belong to someone else?" So the woman does what she should do and makes a post about the cat.   • Taking care of a pregnant cat is so much work. When I was a little kid, my parents found a pregnant cat outside. We were traveling actually, and were wandering around the busy and unclean streets of New York City, when they heard meowing. I was only 8-years-old at the time, so I just followed them and observed. They heard meowing coming from some nearby trashcans, and in hindsight I give them so much credit for going up to garbage in a city like that! But they did for the sake of a cat. Lo and behold, a fat, pregnant cat was sitting behind the trash meowing up at us. My parents immediately took her and we went to the vet. The cat was surprisingly calm, and all was sorted. For anyone who doesn't believe in fate, just believe in the cat distribution system.
