It's not just for girls trying to appear brooding and quizzical on the beach. It's for everyone! And honestly, we welcome it. Summer gets too much praise, poor winter is always hated on. But we say no longer! We demand balance. It's better for the head, heart, and soul. How can you appreciate the lightness when you try to ignore the darkness? You need them both. It can hit you at any moment, that summertime sadness. You could be enjoying margaritas on the patio of some Mexican restaurant with your besties, or be at the beach with your loving family. And still BAM! You all of a sudden feel undeserving, unattractive, etc. It's not the most fun. However, at least you have the sun and its gift of Vitamin D to help you along the way.
