We all need to take our time when life becomes too much. Take an afternoon walk this weekend and scroll some soothing pet memes for a sense of slowness.

No matter where you are in the world, who you are, who your parents are, how much money you make, or what you do for work, life is tough. It's just innate in the universe, and it doesn't stop at humans. Life is hard for everyone and everything. Think about a tree that's bulldozed for a hotel to be built, that was a tough life! Life is teeming with tumultuous moments, bad luck, heartbreaks, relationship issues, or work related drama. Sometimes, you can detach and give yourself some stressless activities like scrolling pet memes. Saturdays don't have to be busy. Saturday is part of the weekend, and you can rest and take things slow as much as you'd like. Your inner world thrives on the weekend because you don't have the same obligations to people, life, responsibilities, work, or anything else. It's just you and whatever you want to do (unless you're married with kids, then it's not). The vibe is just waiting there for you to choose what you want from it. If you want a little bit of ease then you can take yourself on a walk in the sunshine and nature, and have some alone time.

Saturdays are the best days. They encourage our autonomy and let us be our authentic selves. We're not corporate slaves on Saturday; we can plan what we want. There's softness that pets provide that help us through the work week and busy schedules that are bound to come up at some point. So here's to slowness, pets, and Saturdays.
