There is nothing quite as uplifting as someone in your life having a birthday. It is a day of celebration, appreciation and admiration, what is not to like about that? And when it happens to be a cat who is celebrating their birthday, well that is a whole extra dose of delight.

Sure, cats in themselves have little to no concept of what a birthday is, when their birthday is or why having a birthday even matters at all. But for us pawrents, celebrating our cat's official birthday or the one we made up for them is a delight beyond words. Getting to give them the treats we cannot afford on a regular basis, seeing them light up when we give them that new toy we had been saving up for and overall knowing that we are giving everything we can to the feline soul that so deeply love and admire.
