A model representing the girl in this story smiling while hiding her mischievous tactic

I started working from home recently and found a loophole...

I have to confess I like her, and that's why I might tend to lean in her favour. I totally get the feeling. It was a Friday, she was feeling a little more playful than usual, and naturally, one thing led to another. Let’s all admit she was smart and acted very fast with what she had in hand.

An illustrative picture of a phone representing the misterious "unknown" caller

I say she might eventually be kicked out of her job because of this, because I think the ‘calling from an unknown number’ part is fine, but the ‘hanging up on a customer’ part is not, and that’s how she might be found out about at some point.
I remember I used to work at a call centre back when computers were not that controllable, and on easy days, I literally watched entire films on YouTube. I think precisely because I was chill and entertained most of the time, I was probably a better employee in the end. That’s not exactly the case for our girl, though, because she is literally leaving early by hanging up a few calls. I still don’t blame her, guys. You can never make me hate her. If she didn’t do that, she would be obligated to stay extra hours because of an entitled customer. Some people need boundaries instead of extra help, lol. I’m doing everything I can to defend her now, I need to stop.

Bottom line, I think she can keep getting away with it if she doesn’t start doing it too often. I don’t really think we have to be so strict about it. That said, a commentator suggested that she find another phone to make the unknown calls just to be safe, and I think that’s a good idea, just to disassociate her phone number from anything. Although that complexifies the deed. Nothing can be easy and lighthearted anymore!
