Grandparents have to be the most precious humans to ever exist. Having them around is a privilege one must not take for granted. With this being said, grandparents also are extremely stubborn. With more days on earth than any of us could imagine, comes wisdom and knowledge. And a whole lot of sassy attitude, let's be honest. I know they are not always right, although they might gaslight you into thinking they are, but most of the time, their intentions are pure-hearted. So all there is left to do is follow along and let them be.
Now, I do not say all of this lightly. I feel obligated to prove my credentials when it comes to grandparents, because actually, I live with one. And, shocker, we actually get along super well, to the point where attachment issues might have developed. I love my grandma so much it makes me sick, but boy does she sometimes drive me crazy.

The bond between a grandparent and their grandchild is almost impossible to break. You know the best thing about them? You get yourself a free, old, and wise family lawyer. No matter what crime you committed, they will always have you back. No questions asked, no evidence left on sight, no judgmental passing. You need them? They will be there. And, yes, their manners might be a little questionable and they might say something kind of mean without even trying to do so. But in times of need (or extreme hunger) help will be on it's way.
Speaking of hunger, I'm pretty sure if you were to ask every grandchildren how much food their grandparents make when they go visit them, majority of the answers would be ‘Enough to keep me well fed for a month’. And we have to love them for that. You know I' d rather have a ‘You haven’t eaten enough today' grandma than a ‘Did you gain a little bit of weight while you were in Costa Rica?’ grandma.

Well I'd love to keep writing about how adorable, and at times scary, grandparents are, but my grandma is calling for help. It's a constant fight between her and the computer, you know. If she could, she would have given me a Bachelor's Degree in Technology by now. (I literally only printed her medical bills.) Okay! Be nice and don't forget to hug your grandma, kids!
