Taking your cat to the store has consequences, and if you do it, you must be ready to pay for it. Literally.

Having cats is pawsome, yes, but there is one thing that all cat owners complain about. No, we're not talking about cats stealing food off our plates. We're not talking about our cats yelling at closed doors for no reason. We're not talking about our cats using our laptops as bootie warmers. All of these things were things that we knew were going to happen. We were mentally prepared for them. What we weren't prepared for was our cats hating every single thing that we buy for them.

Well, maybe not hate. Our cats just don't use the expensive toys and beds and gadgets that we get them. More than anything, our cats prefer the boxes that these things come in. And so our hard-earned money goes to waste. Over and over. And we never learn the lesson. Because we just want to keep spoiling them in every way that we can. So, when user MaviBaby0314 on r/cats decided to take their cat to the store and the cat actually chose something… Well, they had absolutely no choice but to buy it for them. And the internet found the whole thing so hilariously baffling that they made the kitty go viral.

Yep, not going to lie, if we saw our cat lying so comfortably anywhere, we would be bringing that thing with us. He looks so tiny and soft on that giant, fluffy bed. There was no way to separate the two. The only way to get back home would have been to pick the cat up in that bed and bring both of them home together - as you did. It was literally the ony way.

You realize that makes him an incredibly unique cat, right? It's like- impossible for us to get our cats to like most of the things that we buy them. They love the boxes that the things come in, but the things themselves… Well, sometimes, they decide to like those things just as we finally decide to throw them out because they were never used. You think they do it on purpose? We think they do it on purpose.
