When you adopt a cat, you never imagine you're letting a ferocious goblin into your house.

Cats will always be mysterious. There's constantly something new to discover about them, like they hold secrets only to reveal them at some time that'll leave us surprised, jaws on the floor, in awe of their hidden abilities. And one of these abilities is the silliest of them all, which is very on-brand for cats. They can enter the goblin mode. It's the secret silly sauce of cats where they go absolutely unhinged - making weird noises, climbing on gravity-defying objects, and generally acting as if they're possessed by a demon.

All animals can go into goblin mode, but when it comes to cats - they're the absolute kings and queens of it. Silly cats are such an internet landmark, and every cat parent knows it. And this is exactly why we asked our beloved cat community over at the ICHC Facebook page to slap that cat derp all over us. And boy, oh boy, you delivered.
