The second the weather warms up, every patch of sunshine becomes prime feline real estate. Window sills fill up with sleepy kitties, porches become deluxe lounging spots, and shady corners suddenly transform into the perfect place for an afternoon catnap. It's impressive how quickly cats can find the coziest place to spend a warm day.

Relaxing is only half the summer agenda. Curious noses have flowers to sniff, butterflies to watch, and birds to supervise from a safe distance. Every rustling leaf, buzzing bug, and gentle breeze deserves a full investigation. A tiny splash in a kiddie pool or a cautious paw reaching toward the water can easily become the highlight of the afternoon. Warm weather also seems to bring out a cat's playful side. Toys get batted across the patio, blades of grass become worthy opponents, and the occasional zoomie around the backyard appears out of absolutely nowhere. Every season has us wishing for the next one. We're bundled up in winter dreaming about summer, then the first heatwave hits and suddenly everyone misses those chilly mornings. Forget Hot Girl Summer. It's Hot Cat Summer now.
