I made it to my dream company's second round of interviews. When I received that email, I was so excited I couldn't breathe - this is my first time having this reaction lol never really understood the experience before when people talk about it.

I spent hours preparing the questions for the interview. However, on the day of the interview, I stuttered because I was nervous. All the questions they asked were prepared, and the experiences they needed, I have.

The last time I stuttered during my interview was back in school. After graduating, I never had issues speaking with a flow, and couldn't think of the appropriate words. I'm not sure how to prevent this in my future interview with a company that I dream of getting into... I feel extremely sad because I value this opportunity so much that I was super excited and proud to share to my friends and family.

relaxing? Does it seem like they don't really care about this interview and have someone on their mind already? They said they will have a debrief with the recruiter the next day and will let me know the result soon.

Embarrassed_Tax_6547 That does seem like a couple red flags. I wouldn't worry so much about your stuttering, interviews can be nerve racking. Especially since you really wanted the job and your panel didn't take it seriously. Did you already hear back that you didn't get it? Or are you assuming you didn't?

SuperficialCheetah that interviewer saying he was joking after your serious answer is a huge red flag. you dodged a bullet if they don't call back

Avirgilio10 Most interviewers are also working on other tasks so them being side tracked isn't shocking. In the future, try to calm yourself down by thinking about it like you're just having a conversation about something you're interested in with a couple of strangers on the train.

Your first post grad job likely won't be your forever job so if this doesn't work out it probably wasn't meant to be. Maybe there will be an opportunity to work at the dream company in the future with a different team!
