I only show up on my scheduled time and apparently that’s considered late

Some conversations are not even worth having. The moment you realize somebody is not open to changing their perspective, or even to consider another, it’s time to go. Of course, it would all be wonderful if we could exit conversations just like that, but most of the time we have to wait for them to be over, or we are, sadly, too invested to quit. Of course, this discussion makes no sense, but it’s especially nerve-wracking to have one of these at work because it’s your source of income, and when it trembles, everything in your life does.

A depiction of the server not taking any of the manager's calls

I can only imagine how pleasurable this revenge must’ve felt. Not only not showing up, but seeing the million missed calls and not even bothering to pick up. Everything I wish I could’ve done to my ex, lol. If the manager wanted her to show up half an hour later, he should have asked and also paid accordingly. I’m sorry, this was just a matter of poor employee management! Maybe nobody is against him, and he is just bad at his job. Where will he be pointing his ‘rat finger’ to now?
