Senior cat and daughter who were thrown to street by same family find each other thanks to kind hooman who found and cared for the dumped feline, resulting in heartwarming reunion: ‘I’m just happy my baby is here and I’m taking good care of her’

It is not often that we hear about a cat and a second family member getting the boot from the family home, but in this story that is precisely what happened. And we have to say that it made for one heck of a rescue tale.

Reddit's r/cats subreddit is about the most generic place to enjoy cat content. Everything from cute cat pics to crazy cat stories can be found there. But the story that we brought you from there today is a totally different style to what you would normally expect to find. For unlike even your standard rescue story, this tale tells of the displacement of not only a cat but also a hooman from a family home. A truly uncommon occurrence especially that they would happen one after the other.

Sadly, the cat was the first one to be given the boot and bolted as far away as her little legs could carry her. This meant that when the cat's hooman sister was also asked to leave, the feline was not present and so began a frantic search on the part of the now homeless young woman. But much to her amazement she fell into some serious good luck, and before long she would find herself reunited with her soul cat living a life far away from the folly of their previous family.

Goodness, there is hardly a sadder tale than that of a cat who is ejected from their family, only to have a hooman sibling soon follow suit. It just goes to show how tough life can be in a family. And then on top of all that drama to spend all that time roaming the streets in hopes of finding your fur baby. Gosh, the weight and pain of this moment is almost too much to bear. Thankfully, it is not the end of the story, not by a longshot.

Wow, that is simply unreal. We cannot imagine the vindication that this woman must have felt. After being thrown out of her own family, likely over things relating to the dumping of the cat, it is just so inspiring and heartwarming to hear that she got everything she could have wanted and more. Free from that wretched family this hooman and cat child are ready to take on the world together. From here there is so much for the pair to do, see and experience together.
