While doggos tagging along in the cabs of semi trucks is no new thing, finding abandoned puppers on the street and immediately adopting them into one's trucker lifestyle certainly is. But that is exactly what happened to one lucky little puppy found by a driver's delivery site.

Rescues of abandoned and dumped doggos happen all over the place and in all different ways. Sometimes a chase ensues, other times trust needs to be built with treats, but sometimes, just sometimes everything goes as smoothly as could possibly be. Every bump in the road gets flattened, every twist in the trail becomes a straight line and before you know it you are already at your destination. And that is how one tiny puppy spotted by a delivery depot instantly became the second dog in this trucker's travelling fur family.

Now you might be thinking 'a Belgian Malinois in a truck cab? Won't they go nuts?' and we asked ourselves this question too for a moment but then we remembered a few things. First of all dogs can expend a whole heap of their energy just through looking at changing scenery and smells. And you can bet that a dog who travels full time will be exposed to a lot of those. And secondly when they do eventually stop, the places they stop are often wide and open, allowing for some free running to burn off the extra energy they might have left. And by the looks of it this pupper is going to have one heck of wholesome life with their new pawrent.

Well, we will not be telling you what deity to believe that this blessing came from but we can certainly agree that some sort of universal powers made this meet cute happen. The universe could not have put it more clearly for this man, either you take responsibility for the pupper and ensure it has a good life, or send it off to a life of difficulties in a system poorly designed to support it. This trucker most certainly did the right thing, especially with it being a Belgian Malinois, they are such high maintenance dogs and without a doubt would have had a super tough time at the local shelter.

Well, you could hardly ask for a sweeter ending to a dog rescue like this. Sometimes the doggo distribution system manages to get everything lined up just right and the most wonderful things can happen with ease. It is of course not to be taken for granted, such simplicity is the product of pawfect timing before the dog’s health deteriorated due to heat or illness, before animal control got their hands on it and before any kind of deluded ex owner could step forth to make a fuss.
