There's something almost meditative about watching a cat exist. No rushing, no overthinking, no doom-scrolling through tomorrow's to-do list - just a creature fully committed to whatever nap, sunbeam, or windowsill bird-watching session is currently happening. Cats spend a huge chunk of their day sleeping, often somewhere between 12 and 16 hours, and they seem to treat every single one of those naps like a top priority, not a guilty pleasure. For us hardworking hoomans juggling deadlines and inboxes, there's a quiet kind of wisdom in that - a reminder that rest doesn't need to be earned or apologized for. Maybe the real productivity hack was a cat's nap schedule all along.
